AgroBootCamp, our Agroecology and Green Entrepreneurship Boot Camp, is back with a vengeance in 2019. Same forms and objectives as last year with some nice surprises in bonus. The 1st edition of the year will be held in Benin from April 11th to 17th.
1st edition of AgroBootCamp – April 2018
For its 3rd edition, AgroBootCamp will take place from April 11 to 17, 2019 in Tori-Bossito, Benin. The objective has not changed: to give participants the keys to succeed in green entrepreneurship. The vocation of AgroBootCamp being to empower young Africans through the practice of activities that respect the environment and the Human.
The format also remains the same: for 7 days, 50 participants will have access to practical, hands-on training in agro-ecology and food processing. The opportunity to put their hands in the dough or in the earth. They will also be introduced to the fundamentals of starting and succeeding in an entrepreneurial project. The program also offers multiple collaborative activities and of course opportunities to share experiences, debates and exchanges on the challenges of sustainable development in Africa.
Registration is open until March 21, 2019. The camp is mainly aimed at project holders and entrepreneurs, students, unemployed people, professionals in the agricultural sector. But it is of course open to anyone wishing to learn and share on issues related to sustainable and responsible agriculture in Africa. The selection is done by call for applications. If you are interested, you can apply via the online form.
If you can’t make the trip to Benin, don’t worry: AgroBootCamp sessions will be organized in other West and Central African countries. This is part of the surprises that will be announced soon. We’re still keeping the suspense alive! Don’t hesitate to follow AgroBootCamp on social networks to get the latest news.
With AgroBootCamp, we wanted to respond to a major challenge: to train young Africans so that they can develop activities and projects that contribute to creating economic, social and environmental value. Thus, the proposed program is accessible to all audiences (in terms of content) and quality, and the workshops are led by local and international experts recognized in their field.
Because we wanted AgroBootcamp to remain financially accessible to all, the contribution requested from each participant is 38 euros (25,000FCFA), which includes training fees, accommodation and food. While the actual cost of the camp per participant is 230 euros (150,000FCFA)…
