Our CEO Murielle Diaco becomes an executive member of the African Circular Economy Network (ACEN).
ACEN vision is to build a restorative African economy that generates well-being and prosperity inclusive of all its people through new forms of economic production consumption which maintain & regenerate its environmental resources.
During the past two years, Murielle has continuously supported the ACEN Network via advocacy work, conference speeches and articles about what it would take to design a circular economy in Africa for Africans.
Murielle also has a pan-African profile and activity via the sustainability related innovation platform she has launched in 2016: Djouman. Recently she has created the Ubuntu Club with her Djouman partners, a Club focused on young African entrepreneurs with a new spirit. Murielle will work at ACEN on a volunteer basis, as all members, aiming at designing the best circular economic model for Africa and its citizens. Murielle is from Côte d’Ivoire with a background in computer sciences and engineering. She has completed a MBA in sustainable development.
